SolarWorld collaborated with Bochum University of Applied Sciences in Germany to built the vehicle. Solar powered race cars have been developed at Bochum University since 2002.
The students, employees, and professors of the faculty of mecatronics and mechanical engineering, as well as the faculty of electrical engineering and informatics, proudly present this prime example of energy efficiency which was built by the students themselves.
